On February 22, two students from Christ Lutheran School attended the regional spelling bee in Spencer, Wisconsin. Jasper Arneberg was the spelling champion of the Chippewa Falls area parochial schools, and Jamie Krause was the alternate (second place). They are both sixth-graders in the class of Mrs. Ericksen's, who accompanied them on the trip, along with Jamie's mom, Libby, and Jasper's parents, Beth and Tom.
